Pork Shoulder & Sauerkraut

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds pork shoulder
  • 2 pounds sauerkraut
  • large onion, course chopped
  • large apple, course chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbls caraway seeds
  • splash of wine

Directions:

  • Heat oven to 325 degrees
  • Hot skillet, saute pork, 3 minute / side
  • mix everything else in a bowl
  • Pork in the Iron Dutch Oven
  • dump over everything on top
  • in the oven for 4 hours.
