Peel and slice a medium onion. Saute in a half stick of margarine until limp.
I use a 32oz jar of Libby's. Drain the saurkraut. I just squish mine into a colander.

Nicely carmelized. Serve with boiled Kielbasa and German Potato Pancakes.
