Fried Rice






Ingredients:
  • 2/3 cup dry rice
  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tbls butter

  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 egg scrambled

  • 2 tbls butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 small carrot, diced
  • 1/2 small onion, diced
  • 1/3 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 tbls soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
Directions:
  • cook rice, cool, refrigerate for 20 hours or so

  • Scramble egg, set aside
  • Butter in skillet, add carrot & onion, 4 minutes
  • add garlic, cook 1 minute
  • add cold rice and peas, cook to rice to brown
  • add eggs, soy sauce, sesame oil, cook 2 minutes
  • Done
